Training plans for the race you actually entered
Every plan here is personalised to your specific needs, not a general plan for everyone. It is built from your own training history, the demands of your specific course, and the days you can genuinely train, then it adapts every week to what you actually did.
20 events across four sports, plus a whole-season plan that can hold as many of them as you like. The week counts below are minimums for finishing the event. A more ambitious goal needs more, and a season can run up to 52 weeks.
Your season
Run
5K
from 10 wksA 5K plan tailored to your own history and the race you entered, never a general plan. From 10 weeks, adapting every week to what you actually did.
10K
from 12 wksA 10K plan built around the days you can actually train, from 12 weeks. It knows your paces, finds your limiter, and adjusts when life interferes.
Half marathon
from 14 wksFrom 14 weeks, planned backwards from race day and built on your own paces. Every session states what it is for, and the plan adapts when you miss one.
Marathon
from 18 wksFrom 18 weeks, shaped by your history, your course and the hours you actually have. The long run grows to what the race asks, not to a template number.
Trail ultra
from 24 wksFrom 24 weeks. Climb lengths, descent load and time on feet come from your actual course, so the plan trains the day you signed up for.
50K ultra
from 24 wksFrom 24 weeks, with fatigue resistance and eccentric durability treated as trainable abilities rather than hoped-for side effects of long runs.
50 mile ultra
from 24 wksFrom 24 weeks. Peak weeks reach around ten hours, and the plan grows you into that rather than starting there, with fuelling trained alongside.
100K ultra
from 24 wksFrom 24 weeks, built on your own durability and the course profile. Long days, night running and fuelling are planned rather than improvised on race day.
100 mile ultra
from 32 wksThe longest guided plan Nymiva builds. From 32 weeks, with sleep strategy, aid-station spacing and back-to-back long days shaped by your actual race.
Bike
Criterium
from 8 wksFrom 8 weeks, the shortest guided plan we build. Built on your own power curve, because a crit is decided by the fifth surge and not by the first.
Time trial
from 12 wksFrom 12 weeks. Your own threshold and the length of the event decide the work, so a ten minute effort and a forty minute effort are trained differently.
Gran fondo
from 12 wksFrom 12 weeks, and the minimums scale with the distance you declare. Durability late in a long day is trained directly rather than simply assumed.
Gravel race
from 12 wksFrom 12 weeks. Repeated short punches, surface and hours in the saddle come from your own riding and the course you entered, not from a road template.
MTB cross-country
from 12 wksFrom 12 weeks. Cross-country is decided by how many hard efforts you can repeat, so repeatability and technical skill are planned as real abilities.
Road race
from 16 wksFrom 16 weeks. Upload the route and the climb lengths on it become the interval durations, because a flat race and a mountain race are different events.
Triathlon
Sprint triathlon
from 12 wksFrom 12 weeks, planned as one season rather than three. Shared aerobic work is reused, and transitions get real sessions instead of being hoped for.
Olympic triathlon
from 16 wksFrom 16 weeks. Swim, bike and run share one recovery budget, so hard days are spaced across sports rather than optimised one sport at a time.
70.3
from 24 wksFrom 24 weeks, built on your own thresholds in swim, bike and run. The run off the bike is trained as its own demand, and fuelling is progressed.
Ironman
from 28 wksFrom 28 weeks, peaking near twelve hours. Built from your own history, your course and the hours you have, and it adapts when you miss a week.
